Gordon Edward West-Johnson of Sorrento B.C. passed away at the Kelowna General Hospital in the ICU Palliative Care Unit early February 3rd, 2016.

The family extends our sincere thanks to the wonderful nurses, Dr. McKenzie and Dr. Holmes for their kind and compassionate care. It was greatly appreciated.

Gordon was born in Vancouver B.C. and spent his early years in Kamloops and the Cariboo region.  He lived in Victoria during his teenage years. He trained as an electrician and spent most of his working life with BC Tel in a variety of positions, both technical and managerial.

Gordon was predeceased by his mother, his father and his son Timothy. He is survived by his wife Rose, his daughter Karen (Gary), his son David, his daughter-in-law Mary and his grand children Tyler (Shannon), Trina (Tony) and Trent (Audriana) as well as his great-grand children Caiden, Shanna and Skylar.  He is also survived by his brother Stan and his many cousins throughout B.C.

There will be a Celebration of Life 11:00 a.m. on April 23rd, 2016 at Fischer’s Funeral Services, 4060 1st Ave. S.W., Salmon Arm B.C. Tea, coffee and a light lunch will be served after the celebration.

If friends wish, a donation may be made to their favourite charity in his memory.
