Harry was born in Hayes England. He immigrated to Canada as a young man landing in Vancouver, then on to Calgary. He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway as an electrician for many years then decided to move to B.C. where he started his own business, Smith Carpet Care. He also worked for the Regional District and was a volunteer fireman in Sorrento.
Harry met and married Isabelle in 1958. They had 36 wonderful years together before Isabelle lost her battle with cancer in 1994.
It was Harry's wish that there be no funeral service.
