Hazel Norine Burden (neé Loewen) passed away August 28, 2021 at the age of 88.
Predeceased by husband James (Jim) in 2015 and daughter Carol in 2014, Norine will be missed by son Dan (Catherine) and grandchildren Alexander and Liz.
Born in Hepburn, Sask, and raised in Aldergrove, BC, Norine taught elementary school for over 35 years, in Clinton, Prince George, Langley and Salmon Arm. A longtime member of the community, she and Jim were active in the Salmon Arm Flying Club.
Norine enjoyed playing piano and organ as well as singing in choirs and bell-ringing. To her family, she will always be remembered as "Jack Rabbit": constantly jumping up to do something for someone else.
