Helen Mary Sloan passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm on May 19, 2008 at the age of 95 years.
Born in Estevan, SK on September 18, 1912, Helen had been part of the Salmon Arm community for almost 60 years.
Helen is survived by five of her seven children, Todd Sloan of Kamloops, Shirley Fellersen of La Quinta, California, Pat Currie of Vancouver, Barry Sloan of Osoyoos and Lee Sloan of Red Deer, AB; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alton Sloan, in 1991 and her children, Don Sloan of Eagle Bay and Elaine Sloan of Vancouver.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helen may be made to the charity of your choice.
