Henry George Holdaway always known as Nick passed away on September 30, 2010 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Born in London England on August 23, 1942 Nick immigrated in 1972 with his wife and young family to Canada, they settled in Calgary, Alberta. In 1990 Nick and Brenda moved to Salmon Arm.
Nick will be remembered as an easy going fun loving man who loved hunting, fishing and his family. He was “all smashing good and nice” and always “bloody fantastic”
Nick has left behind until they meet again his loving wife of 47 years Brenda; daughters Toni (Jeremy), Tina (Paddy), Elaine and son Andy (Kim). Nick had 10 grand children and one great grandson; he will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of Nick’s life was held on Tuesday October 05, 2010 at 4:00 pm from Bowers Funeral Home Chapel, Salmon Arm, BC with Capreece Bowers the celebrant. A time of fellowship and refreshments followed the service in the mountainside room.
