Howard Evans of Sicamous, B.C. passed away April 30th, 2011 in his 78th year.
Survived by his wife Lydia of 55 years, son Calvin of Sicamous, B.C., daughter Pagent (Wayne) McEachern of Salmon Arm. Granddaughters: Kailey and Heather McEachern of Manitoba. Grandsons: Ryan Glave and Brad (Crystal) Evans of Edmonton & great grandson Raistland Evans. Howard will also be missed by siblings Margaret Thompson of Kelowna, B.C., Muriel (Jess) Johnson of Atmore, AB. Lois (Jerry) Playfair of Ft. St. James, B.C., many nieces and nephews as well as family in Ireland.
Howard was predeceased by his parents, sister Esther Hill, daughter Shannon (1971) and son Dean (2006).
The family extends their thanks and appreciation to SLG Hospital nursing staff for their care and compassion.
Memorial service will take place May 7, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Sicamous Legion Hall, Sicamous, B.C.
