It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian Carl Schierbeck. Dad died peacefully with family by his side on November 16th, 2019 after his short battle with cancer. Dad was predeceased by both his parents, John and Elizabeth and by his wife Donna. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
The Family would like to send out a big thank you to Dr. Mike Skubiak, the community care nurses and care aides, along with the Bastion Care facility staff. We appreciate all the care and compassion you provided during our Dads time of need.
An Open House will be held at Fischer's Funeral Home on Tuesday November 26th from 1 - 4 pm.
An open mic will be available, and the family would be grateful to anyone who would like to say some words or share some stories.
Dad was a big supporter of The Salvation Army and The Second Harvest Food Bank in Salmon Arm. In lieu of flowers, donations to those causes would be greatly appreciated.
