July 26, 1944 - October 14, 2018
Jim passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital with his wife and family by his side after a short but courageous battle with leukaemia.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 50 years Gail and his sons James and Jonathan (Tammy), granddaughters (Jordan, Grace) and sisters Angie (Bob) and Wendy (Gary). He was predeceased by his parents Nick and Jean Teslyk and many other family members.

Jim was born in Smokey Lake, Alberta. He was a licensed master mechanic with various degrees. He retired from Okanagan Aggregate Ltd where he had numerous friends. Jim was an active member with the Vernon Lions and Leos. He was also part of the Scouting movement and held various positions including Training and District Commissioner.

We the family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors that helped Jim and took such excellent care of him in Intensive care at the VJH, particularly Dr. Vaz and his team.

There is no funeral or memorial at Jim's request and any donations can be sent to the charity of your choice in his memory.
