Jeanette (Jan) Mae Hoskins, born February 8, 1937 in Edmonton, AB, the youngest of five children, passed away three days after her 74th birthday, in Bastion Place, Salmon Arm, BC.

Predeceased by her oldest sister Margaret (Rita) Thompson, nephew Robert (Rob) Lamb and step-son Thomas (Tommy) Hoskins.

Survived by her husband James (Jim), daughter Deborah (Ken) Bird, stepson Rodney (Erin) Hoskins, stepdaughter Shelley (Merlin) Wick and daughter-in-law Diane Hoskins, sisters Norma (Chris) Main, Christine Lamb, brother Don (Donna) Laughton, three nieces, two nephews, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brothers-in-law Gary (Flo) Hoskins, Warren (Vivian) Hoskins, sister-in-law Amy Marshall as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

She was active in the F.O. Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #3453 for over 37 years, various social clubs from Kamloops, Chase, Sorrento and the surrounding area for a number of years, most recently the Sorrento Women’s Institute, Meals on Wheels, OAPO Hall and St. Mary’s Church.
