Jil will be remembered for her sharp wit, intelligence, humour and storytelling. Born in Kimberley, BC, she grew up in Princeton and Sidney and later attended BCIT in Burnaby. In her career as a hotel revenue director, she lived in many places, including Vancouver, Boston, San Antonio, Calgary, Seattle and Nashville. Along the way, she made many friends and fans. She is survived by her parents Glen and Hana (Tanemura) and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her brother Spencer. Jil will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her deeply and dearly.
A service will be held in Salmon Arm at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
