Jim Smith passed away February 11, 2020. Predeceased by wife Audrey and survived by sons John (Sue), Garnet (Andrea) and grandchildren Jessica, Ariel, Shea, Aiden and Sydney.
In Salmon Arm since the 1930's, Jim touched many lives as a coach and teacher. He will be remembered for his honesty and fairness. All of his students and athletes were worthy of his best efforts and he will be missed. Jim liked to sit in his back yard with his wife at (precisely) 4:00 pm and have a drink before dinner. This time became known as "Jim break." Take a moment when it is sunny and warm to have a Jim break for him. He would enjoy that.
There is no service by request but there will be an announced informal gathering later in the spring.
