Joan Lucille Keown, age 75, died peacefully on Feb. 26, 2018 in Salmon Arm, BC with family by her side.
Joan is survived by her son, Chuck Keown; grandchildren, Pascal, Josh and Trevor Keown; and great grandchildren, Kashton and Maria Keown.
She is predeceased by her husband, Bill Keown; daughter, Brenda Keown; granddaughter, Brooke Keown; and daughter-in-law, Candi Keown.
Joan and Bill retired to Sorrento, BC in the early 1980's moving from Grande Prairie, AB. They made many close friends in the Shuswap area and enjoyed it immensely.
Joan will always be remembered as the family caretaker and will be missed terribly by her siblings, Linda Hayman and Larry Micheals, and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Joan's ashes will be spread with her husband, daughter and granddaughter's ashes at a later date by her wishes.
