It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joan Lynn Cooper of Sicamous. Joan passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer with her family at her side. Joan was raised on a farm near Expance Sask. And attended school there, as well as Mossbank Sask. Joan had a long and very successful career in cosmetic, health and beauty aids fields with Bi Rite Drugs in Moose Jaw and Regina; while later moving to Calgary with Shoppers Drug Mart regional head office. Her co-workers and her many long-time loyal customers and store owners had nothing but glowing praise for her. Joan's last years before retirement were spent working with her husband's company. Joan loved her winters in the California desert and had developed a great passion for golf. Predeceased by her brother Jim Sullivan and her parents Goldie and Clarence Sullivan, and sister in law Judy Dougherty. Joan is survived by her husband Eldon (Butch), her 5 brothers, Tom (Sharon) of Saskatoon, Donald (Jean) of Calgary, Bill (Linda) of Mossbank, Douglas, Allan (Jean), all of Moose Jaw. Step Daughters, Sharlene Boudreau, Shannon Boonstra and 6 grandchildren all of Armstrong B.C. and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews. Joan enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a happy, outgoing, genuine, thoughtful and caring person who lived her life with class and dignity. Joan, we love you and will miss you always and forever, you made our world a happier place.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at 11 am at Bowers Funeral Home located on 440 10th St S.W. Salmon Arm, BC.
