John R. Brogan 82 of Henderson NV, passed away April 10, 2011.
John was born in Gibbon, Nebraska on Oct. 13, 1928 and also lived in Cour d’Alene, Everett, Williams Lake, Salmon Arm and Henderson. John was an avid sportsman, he enjoyed playing golf and curling. An outstanding athlete at Boys Town and later at the University of Idaho led to John being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was inducted into the Idaho Sports Hall of Fame in 1994 .
John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy, son Steve (Wendy), daughters Moreen (Doug) and Colleen (Gary), 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
