It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Julia Maxwell (nee Syrotiuk) of Calgary, formerly of Cedar Heights (Sorrento) on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the age of 89 years. She was born in Shevlin, Manitoba to Joseph and Anne Syrotiuk. Loving mother of Lorraine Taylor (Robert) of Timmins, Ontario, Robert Maxwell of Oliver, BC and Linda Buczkowski (Peter) of Calgary, AB. Cherished grandmother of Curtis, Mark, Heather, Kelly, Chelsea and Whitney and proud great grandmother of Eve, Sydney and Auldin. Predeceased by the love of her life Hubert Vincent on June 17, 2000. Julia was a friend to all and a very active contributing member of every community she lived in.
