Kenneth Brian Dickson

Kenneth (Ken) Brian Dickson died on November 11, 2007 at the age of 48 after a year long battle with lung cancer.

Born on October 20, 1959 in Williams Lake, BC. Ken moved around a lot as a child but lived most of his life in the Lower Mainland. He met his wife, Kim Simons in 1979. They lived in the Lower Mainland until 1992 at which time they moved up to Salmon Arm. Ken worked many years as a shipper/receiver at Custom Window and Door and most recently as a shipper/receiver at Talius.

Ken is predeceased by his father Albert, brother Russel and sister Ester. He is survived by his wife Kim as well as his mother Ruth and brother Len of Mission, sisters Rosemary Hubbard of Powell River, Brenda Waddell of Williams Lake, Marilyn Flett (Wayne) of Chase, Gwen Bedford (Brett) of Swift Current, Sheila Hellyer (Curt) of Mission, numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.

An informal celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 17th, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the Scouts Hall located at 2460 Auto Road S.E., Salmon Arm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, CT Scanner Fund or the SPCA.
