Kenneth Charles Willoughby Hill, 89 years of age, passed to rest on Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Salmon Arm, BC.

Born March 8, 1928 in Watford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, he completed a diploma in Physiotherapy from Field of Morris Physiotherapy School in London in 1951. His career began with physiotherapy practices in Coventry, Bleanau Ffestiniog,  and Wolverhampton in the UK. 

He emigrated to Canada with his family in 1967 and was Associate Professor in the School of Physiotherapy, Dalhousie University, NS until his retirement in 1989. Following retirement Ken volunteered for 10 years with Adventist Development and Relief Agency Canada and A Better World Canada to develop rehabilitation services for children with polio in rural Kenya.  He was awarded an honorary doctoral degree from Dalhousie University in 2002 for his pioneering humanitarian work.  His wife, Hazel, was his companion and best friend for 66 years.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel of Salmon Arm, brother David Hill of London, UK, daughter Karen (Henry) Leung of Lacombe, AB, son Kelvin (Marcia) Hill of Lacombe, AB, son Colin (Sheila) Hill of Lacombe, AB, daughter Susan (Kroy) Christison of Salmon Arm, BC and 7 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 31, 2017, 1:00 pm at the Salmon Arm Seventh-day Adventist Church.
