July 14, 1969 - April 12, 2025

Kim was born in Whitehorse, Yukon on July 14, 1969, and passed in Whitehorse, surrounded by loved ones, on April 12, 2025, at the age of 55 years.

Kim's Love Story

Kim and Morley met in Salmon Arm, B.C. in March 1985.

On April 1, 1985, I asked Kim if she wanted to go on a date and that's when we started dating.

In June of 1985, after only two months of dating, I proposed to her by asking her, "Do you want to grow old together?" She replied, "Yes."

I asked her mom and dad if I could marry her.

Dad, or Edgar, left the room and when he returned, he had his shotgun in his hand and replied, "If you treat her right" was his answer.

Mom, or Greta, also expressed her decision by showing me a fist with a big ruby red ring on one finger and said, "Or else."

I was more scared of Mom than Dad.

After just over a year of dating, Kim and I were married on the 26th of April, 1986.

Kim and I had two boys, Jesse and Harley, who she loved dearly.

In August of 1988, Kim and I came to the Yukon, following her parents who had moved here the previous year.

This is where we made a life and home together.

Kim always worked, mostly in the restaurant industry as an efficient and competent server, mainly at the Airport Chalet and Trails North Truck Stop.

Kim was also known for being the blonde girl who drove the bright red Camaro. She was also a big lover of Harley Davidson apparel, her pickup truck, clothes, and knick-knacks around the house. If it was Harley Davidson, she had to have it.

Kim was my best friend and my support through rough times.

Kim was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

We have lost the Matriarch of our family, but we know that her pain and struggles are over.

She can now be with her Mom and Dad, who she loved and missed so dearly.

Kim is survived by the love of her life of over 40 years, Morley, and two sons, Jesse (Tamara) and Harley.

13 Grandchildren: Abbie (Logan), Jordan, Scanlan, Grace, Denali, Jaxon, Jessa, Ryder, Randi Lynn, Myles, Leemore, Elliot, and Lil Rusty Bear. One older brother and sister. Numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, a close-knit Mexico family, and great friends.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Greta and Ed Moeller; mother-in-law, Margaret MacKay; and numerous brothers-in-law.

Our family would like to thank the community for the outpouring of support and comfort during this difficult time. Especially all the people who brought food to feed our big family. Every bit helped and my family was so appreciative and thankful.

She left quite a legacy.

I Love You Babe.

A graveside service was held on April 19, 2025.
