Mar 26, 1946 - Mar 10, 2018
It's with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Larry Terrance Head passed away peacefully after a bravely fought, short battle with cancer at the age of 71 on March 10, 2018 in Salmon Arm, BC.

Larry is survived by his wife Dianne, the love of his life for over 53 years. Four children, Corinne, Terrance (Vickie), Patrick, Deborah (Delane); 7 grandchildren, Darien, Dawson, Triston, Logan and Shaylah, who's hugs lit up their grandpa's face every time; his brother, Clifford (Sharon); sister, Lavena (Bob); and his dog, Sierra.

Larry was born on March 26, 1946 in Prince Albert, SK.  Larry met the love of his life, Dianne in Prince Albert and together started to raise their family of four. One day, Larry had to deliver a load of grain into the Okanagan and from that day on, Larry fell in love with the Shuswap. Larry relocated his wife and children to the beautiful Salmon Arm area in 1977 and from then on Larry began to make many life time friends and memories in the area.

Larry loved the outdoors - going camping with his family and friends and sitting by the fire was one of his favourite things. Larry also loved boating, fishing, golfing, fixing up cars (whether it was his kids' or neighbors') and we will never forget his love of sitting around with family and friends trying to win as many card games as possible.

Larry's passion for trucks was like no one could imagine. After driving millions of miles, wearing trucks out for 50 plus years, he was able to fulfill his dreams after retirement. Larry and Dianne soon became snowbirds, escaping the cold winter months of the Shuswap. In no time they had a whole new set of friends whom they considered family, meeting up with them in Parker, AZ.

Larry was a great family man, a loving father and husband, also a dear friend to many people around the world and will be greatly missed by all.

Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Willms, Dr. Schneider and the staff at SLGH, our family and friends for all your support through this difficult time.

There will be no service at Larry's request.
