In Loving Memory ~
We are heartbroken to say goodbye to Larry Swaré, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.
Larry passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and closest friend on February 6, 2023 at the age of 66.
Larry leaves behind to mourn his wife of 35 years, Lisa Swaré, son Erik Swaré (Chantelle), grandsons Aedan and Isaac, son Lukas Swaré, mother Lorena Moore, brother Darrell Swaré (Val), sister Cheryl Hall (Ian).
He was predeceased by his father Trygve Swaré.
Larry grew up in White Rock. From an early age he loved to build things and out of necessity taught himself many life skills. He pursued an education in engineering technology at BCIT and worked for various companies in the Vancouver area.
In 1993 he moved to Tappen with his wife, where together they built their log home with trees harvested from their property. Finding his niche building and repairing computers, he forged meaningful connections with others while putting his love of problem solving to good use. He worked in tech support for Work BC up until his first battle with cancer in 2015. Computer work remained his passion, where he used his skills to serve others who came to know him as their "computer guy".
Family meant the world to Larry. He loved his wife, his sons, and grandsons with all that he had and he kept his mother, brother and sister dear and near to his heart. He was our Hero, always there for us whenever we needed him.
We will miss you beyond measure and we entrust you now into the loving arms of Jesus.
