Len passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital on Dec 27, 2010 at the age of 91yrs.  Born in East Bourne Sussex, England Jan 12, 1919.  He came to Canada in June of 1948 and married his sweetheart Betty Wellington in Vanc. B.C., Sept. 2, 1958.

He will be remembered for his lovely paintings and his love of music, especially Hawaiian. He was very musical, playing the organ, guitar and Hawaiian guitar.  In the 1980’s and 90’s he played in a small band, which often played at Bastion Place and Pioneer lodge.  Music was on his mind constantly, if he wasn’t humming, he was tapping his foot.  His smile, laugh and quick wit will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Betty, 2 sisters (Betty and Dot) and their families in Australia.  His sister-in-law Eva Wrigley of Salmon Arm, and her family, Bill (Donna)Wrigley of Prince George, Elaine (Dallas) Dobbyn of Vancouver, Lynne (Dennis) Quinn of Salmon Arm, John (Sharon) Wrigley of Kamloops, Liz (Fritz) Ziercke of Salmon Arm, (Lyndy) Wrigley of Edmonton and their families.

As requested there will be no service.

The family would like to thank Dr. Wijeyesinge and nurse Lianne Berst of the Kidney clinic in Kamloops, Dr. McCallum, and all the nursing staff at the hospital for making Len’s last days peaceful.
