September 18, 1958 - October 17, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Loretta Irene Fuller, announce her unexpected passing, at her workplace, on October 17, 2021, shortly after her 63rd birthday.
Loretta is survived by, and will be dearly missed by, her two sons Shawn Pike (Tanya) and Sheldon Pike (Charlie); four grandchildren; also a brother, Lyle Fuller (Cheryl); sisters Lorna Drebit (Bill), Linda Burke (Jerry), and Leslie-Ann Fuller; in addition, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends. Loretta was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Fuller, in 1985, and her mother, Odell Fuller, in 2018.
Loretta's selflessness and caring nature touched many lives; she lived her life putting others before herself. Her listening skills were one of her finest attributes and whether friend, family or neighbour, she had a knack for making you feel that your concerns were hers. She loved being at the lake, sitting around the campfire, and especially sharing time with her family. Her sense of humour and quick wit often brought shock and subsequent laughter to those around her.
Loretta loved music and her home was filled with it. Her father taught her to play the piano at a young age. They performed many duets, entertaining those who gathered to watch and listen. Her sons absorbed the songs of her era, and she, the songs of theirs.
Loretta was a tireless, diligent worker, both at her workplace and at home. She meticulously maintained her yard and garden. Her "green thumb" was evidenced as well by the many indoor plants that adorned her home.
We would like to thank the paramedics and the RCMP for their efforts, skills and service. To Loretta's friends and coworkers, we offer our condolences, and thank you for reaching out to us at this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, www.heartandstroke.ca, or to the charity of your choice.
