It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Lucie Corrie, (nee Veillette) announces her passing at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, on Sunday, September 4th, 2011, at the age of 66 years.

Lucie will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 40 years, Steve. She also leaves a legacy of 3 adoring children, Natacha (Tobias), Anne (Kent), and Nicolas (LaRaine), as well as 4 beloved grandsons (Braden, Hudson, Benoit and Carson) who were influenced by her magical, patient, creative, caring and compassionate nature. She has left a huge void in all of our lives. Lucie will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

As a young woman, Lucie moved to Montreal in order to pursue her career teaching elementary school. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Steve. Later, she concentrated on raising her children and then ran a home daycare, where she touched and influenced the lives of countless children over a 17 year period.
