Bertha was born to Errol and Elisabeth Hurd in Tisdale, Sask. Nov 24, 1952 she married Sheldon Brian Whiting.
They had 7 children Jean (Larry), Susan, Shelly (Gord), Colleen, Gary (Cindy), Jerry and Janice (Alex). Bertha is survived by her sister Linda, 6 children, 19 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husband Brian, daughter Jean and sister Lois.
Bertha was a very proud member of the Royal Purple for many years.
A Memorial Tea will be held @ the Elks Hall in Salmon Arm @ 2:00 pm Sat. May 12, 2018.
