Margaret Smith was born June 28th 1923 in Edinburgh Scotland. She passed away April 21st 2017 in Salmon Arm BC at 93 years.
She married Lawrence Smith (pre deceased) June 11th 1943 and adventured to Canada as a war bride, with two out of four children, Robert and Donna. Her other two children Wilfred and Allan were both born in Canada. Margaret has joined her pre deceased grandsons, Glen and Dwayne Holmes and granddaughter Tammie Jetty. Margaret leaves behind her children, Robert (Arlene), Donna, Wilf (Darlene), Allan (Lorraine), 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Shuswap Lodge in Salmon Arm BC would be appreciated, for all the care and hard work that all the girls did there for our Margaret. The family appreciates all your thoughts and support during this time.
An open house/reception will be held at Fischer’s Funeral Services on Thursday May 18th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
