With sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Betty on October 9 at the age of 97.
Betty was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur. They spent many hardworking years on the family dairy farm in Tappen. They are survived by 4 children - Paul (Vicki), Colleen (Bruce), John (Lisa), and Bill (Jill), 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Betty always had a positive outlook and feisty sense of humour despite being blind for 30 years. She thoroughly enjoyed the staff and residents of Shuswap Lodge for their reportage and companionship.
A celebration of life will be held at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Salmon Arm on Saturday, October 19 at 1:30 pm.
