It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Margo; amazing mother to Maia, loving wife to Rick, beautiful daughter to Alice, wonderful sister to Shari, Rod and Warren, and heart friend to many. She died in our arms in the early hours surrounded by her family in the home she loved on Vancouver Island. She got her last wish.
Margo was such a bright light to all who knew her. She was so filled with love and laughter and that special kind of determination that allowed her to create many rock walls and gardens. I've heard her say numerous times that she was happiest with her hands in the soil but that was only second to riding her horse through meadows and up hills or with her family.
She had that special way of reaching out and welcoming others, helping out even before they knew they needed the help. She surrounded herself with love and brought out the best in others. We will all miss her bright smile, sparkling blue eyes and big laugh; our Unsinkable Molly Brown!
Celebration of Life to be held in Sicamous date and venue to be announced.
