In loving memory ~

Margo was born in Vancouver B.C. She graduated high school in Revelstoke B.C and this is where she met and married Glen, her husband of 65 years before his passing in 2015.

Margo and Glen lived in many places including Chase B.C., Smithers B.C., Haney B.C., then retiring to Sicamous and later to Salmon Arm where they both finished their journeys. Margo enjoyed trips to Reno, Las Vegas and the horse track for the races. She looked forward to going to bag day on Saturdays at the Sicamous Thrift Store. Margo loved to garden, both vegetable and flower, and sit and watch the sunset as she drank a warm cup of tea. She was an avid reader and an amazing writer which we knew nothing about until her later years. She was a feisty lady who was not afraid to speak her mind. She lived her life true to herself, especially later in life.

She will be deeply missed by all her family. Ron (Theresa), Roxanne (Lou), Grandchildren Matt, Shelley, Dawn, Keith, Traci and Connie plus many great grandchildren.

We want to extend an enormous thank you to all the staff at Piccadilly Long Term Care Facility. Margo has been in Piccadilly since February 2020 after suffering a stroke. The staff became family to her, especially the staff in "Dogwood".

Thank you to Dr. Montgomery for guiding us through this journey.

There will be a memorial service on May 10th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Bowers Funeral Home with a reception to follow. To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.bowersfuneralservice.com.
