Aurora was born July 21, 1930 on the island of Flores Azores Portugal. Arrived in Canada with her family in 1960, after a short stay in Ontario the family moved to Sicamous and subsequently moved to Salmon Arm 1966 where she spent the next 51 years and the last year in Kamloops.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Luis (1998) and her five brothers.

She will be sadly missed by her ever loving family eldest son Armando (Lois), Daughter Armanda, and youngest son Anselmo (Lyla), four grandsons Rui and Erik Dykeman, Bradley and Mathew Armas as well as a great granddaughter Eden Armas and her Sister Joselda Jeronimo (Aurelio), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, throughout Canada, USA and Portugal.

Aurora lived for her family and gardening; she was usually found in the kitchen cooking for family and their many friends, the more the merrier.

She will be profoundly missed by those who knew her.
