April 11, 1929 - Bethune SK. June 9, 2020 - Calgary AB. Marian Hay of Calgary passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2020 at the age of 91 years.
Beloved mother of Bev, Linda (Roger Whitworth), Bill (Jane), Doug (Anne) and Scott (Cecilia), Grandmother of Katie, Erin (Dave Hiemstra), Rebecca (Tom From), Thomas (Alex Reed), Alana, Samantha Hay, Clayton Thompson and Allison and Mark (Christel) Whitworth, and great grandmother of William and Andrew Hiemstra. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1989.
Mom enjoyed the summers at the Shuswap with her children, grandchildren and many friends. The first stop for family was the cookie jar or the candy dish. Mom golfed for many years at Canyon Meadows GCC and Shuswap Lake Estates GC. She will be dearly missed by all. A family memorial service was held in Calgary on Friday, June 19.
