Marjory was born in Canoe, BC the forth child of Bert and Martha Evans. She was raised on the farm in Salmon Arm West, attending the one room schoolhouse to grade 8. She moved into her home on Piccadilly Road as a new bride in 1939, residing there until 2005 when she moved into Piccadilly Terrace.

Her interests were as varied as her friends. She had a great love for family, gardening, baking (especially her bread), crocheting, crib and of course a ‘good rum’.

Mom was a nurturer and all were drawn to her warm and beautiful smile.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Bastion Place. Thank you also to Dr. Venter and Dr. Sonmor.
