Feb 28, 1952 - Mar 31, 2018
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mark Renner, on Saturday March 31, 2018 at the age of 66 years.

Mark was a beloved husband, father, papa and friend. He had a short battle with an aggressive cancer.

Mark was born February 28, 1952 to parents Harold and Marion Renner.  He is survived by his loving wife Sue, daughter Amanda Renner, son Adam Renner (Shaili), daughter Nicole Andersen (Rob) and his eight beautiful grandchildren, Sophia, Dreyden, Ella, Kyra, Lilly-Ana, Violet, Cooper and Judah. Also his son-in-law Chad Isaac, sister Harty Johnstone, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mark spent his first 41 years living in the Cloverdale and Langley area, where he married his high school sweetheart, Sue. He built his first of many chicken barns, while pursuing his work as a lineman with B.C. Hydro.  He worked long hard hours, but never forgot to make time for his family. Together Mark and Sue decided to start a new adventure with their family by moving to Enderby, B.C. in 1993. Mark continued expanding his commercial chicken operation as well as working part time in his line trade.

Mark took great pride in his children and raised them in a healthy "farm kid" environment with a twist of fun. He instilled a good work ethic, strong morals and family values in all of his children. He never passed up the opportunity to brag about what his children and then grandchildren were up to. He enjoyed many hobbies over the years and especially liked to be outdoors and "doing stuff" in his shop. He also enjoyed biking, boating, golf, camping and quading just to name of few of his interests.

Deciding that 40 years of chicken farming was enough he sold the farm to "retire" in 2014. Mark felt blessed to be able to share his time between his retirement home at White Lake as well as his place in Mexico.

He was grateful to be able to enjoy his life with his wife, children, grandchildren and friend's, saying many times "that he was a lucky man".

A Funeral Service will take place April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Chapel, Salmon Arm. A reception will follow the service allowing family and friends to continue sharing memories.
