We are sad to announce the passing of Marty McDonald in Abbotsford, BC on Oct. 25, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer. Marty is missed and much loved by his wife, Sharil, son, Keith, brother, John McDonald (Dawn), sisters, Susan McDonald and Judy Spence, brother-in-law, Dan Wagner (Rhonda) and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents, Gordon and Perry McDonald and twin brother, Sam. Marty was born in Salmon Arm on June 25, 1951. He grew up in both Salmon Arm and Williams Lake. Before moving to Abbotsford in 1980 Marty worked for several years in Alberta. He was a loyal and respected employee in his long career as a shotcrete foreman in the construction industry. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his favourite teams and sports. We will remember Marty forever for his love of family and animals and for his quiet, caring manner and great laughter.
