Mary Ann Susan “Sam” Jess (nee Burk) passed away suddenly at Williams Lake, BC on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the age of 48 years.
Sam was born in Ashcroft, BC on December 30, 1961. She had been a long time resident of Salmon Arm working beside her mother at Bill’s Bottle Depot. She enjoyed barrel racing and art.
Sam will be lovingly remembered by her mother Dianne Burk of Salmon Arm; brother, Duane (Bev) Burk of Salmon Arm; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Richard “Rick” Harwood in 1971 and her brother, Richard “Chip” Harwood in 2002.
A celebration of Sam’s life will be held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home on Saturday, November 6 at 10:00 am with Capreece Bowers, celebrant.
