Mary was a long time resident of Salmon Arm and active in many community organizations.
She was predeceased by husbands, Ernie McGrandle and Donald McGillivray and her son, Lawrence McGrandle. She is survived by her son, Michael (Darlene) McGrandle, daughters, Janet (Brent) McGrandle, Judith McGrandle, Denise (Daniel) McGillivray, her sister, Evelyn Boon, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pioneer Lodge – Gardens – Attn. Joyce or the Women’s Transition House in Salmon Arm.
I would like the memory of me to be a happy one

Of happy laughing times and sunny days

To dry before the sun of happy time I leave behind when day is done.
