In loving memory ~
Maurine MacPherson beloved wife of Donald MacPherson, of Salmon Arm passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 after a courageous battle with dementia at the age of 79 years.
Maurine had a passion for family and friends and many different sports, including tennis and golf. She was very supportive of her family and all their athletic endeavours. Maurine looked forward to socializing with close friends and getting in some dancing at any opportunity. She enjoyed listening to a variety of different music genres and took up painting when she retired. Maurine loved to cook for a crowd and was very adventurous with her menus. She also loved to travel to destinations such as Mexico, Hawaii and Palm Springs to soak up the sunshine and consume libations and 'hoity-toities'. Around this time of year, she enjoyed meeting up with her cookie swap group and exchanging holiday treats.
Besides her loving husband, Don, Maurine is survived by her children Wade (Michelle) MacPherson and Loree (Darby) Boyd. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Trajan/Leyton Boyd and Kate/Carter MacPherson. Maurine was predeceased by her parents and brother.
