It’s with great sadness we say goodbye to a dear mother, Grama, Great-Grama, auntie and really true friend to many, many people. Her warm and generous heart was loved by everyone she met.
Minnie was born in Hadynkowce, Poland, and came to Canada with her mom (Theresa) and Dad (Walter) Fedorowicz and baby brother (Frank) when she was four years old. Her sisters Wanda (Paulowich) and Bertha (Krupinski) were born in Canada.
She was predeceased by her Mom and Dad, her husband Fred, her granddaughter Sonia Exner, great-grandson Riley, grandson Marlin Exner and sister Wanda Paulowich. She had also lost many brother- and sisters-in-law and nephews.
She was a wonderful cook and gardener. She was really good at sports and she had lots of bowling memorabilia when she retired from active sports. Still we had a hard time catching her if she wanted to run.
She loved camping and fishing with her dear husband Fred. They both loved to dance and they played cards a lot. They both enjoyed having fun.
We will miss Mom terribly, as we do Dad, but when you love someone you don’t want them to continue on in pain. So we will let her go with love and peace, knowing she gave all she had to give.
She leaves to mourn: Her two sons, Wayne (Barb) and Brian (Susan) Exner; sister Bertha Krupinski; brother Frank Fedorowicz; grandchildren Krystal (Doug) Haaland, Melody Exner, Travis Exner, Tyrone Exner, Stacy Weiss, Twila (Danny) Funk; great-grandchildren Kyle Haaland, Dylan & Derek Moore, Kala & Vance Exner (Lansing), Nevada & Dakota Funk, Tiffany Banks; nieces, nephews and in-laws, too many to name all. She is also dearly missed by tons of friends.
We would like to give a huge thank you to Bulkley Lodge with all their staff and Doctor Haskins for the wonderful care they gave our Mom during her stay there.
Since many of her family and friends are elderly and cannot travel we intend, at convenient times, to take Mom with us and travel to them and have gatherings to celebrate her life.
