Saw a shooting star tonight and we thought of you - with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nadine Collier, on March 9th, 2019 at the age of 85. Nadine is survived by her beloved son and daughter Bruce and Kim Mackinnon, her brothers, Keith and Neil Manhard, her step daughters, Barb LeBeau and Janet Duncan, and her step sons, John and Allan Collier.
Nadine was born Sept 20th, 1933 in Alberta to Lloyd and Irma Manhard. She married Neville MacKinnon in 1953 in Vancouver. Together they had three children: Brian, Kim, and Bruce. Nadine remarried in 1969 to John Collier. They moved with all the children to the Shuswap and lived a wonderful and fulfilling life.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Dr. Kirkman in Salmon Arm for his wonderful care and kindness.
There will be a service celebrating Nadine's life at the North Shuswap Christian Fellowship Hall (4079 Butters Road, Scotch Creek) Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at 11 am.
