Patricia Pearl Schmid of Chase BC passed away on June 26, 2008 at the age of 78 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years – Peter; children Monica Swintz of Kamloops, Paul Deller of Chase, Andy Delmer of Mill Bay and Susi Aitken of Prince George; daughter in-law Linda Horsman; grandchildren Jody, Shawn, Ron, Mitchell, Amanda, Dawn, Josh, Logan, and Tarah; great grandchildren Travis, Piper, Abigail, Treavor, Dustin, and Ryan; brother John Paget of England; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Peter, sisters Joan and Rosemary, and grandchild Rorie.
Pat loved square dancing and caring for the elderly. In her younger days a trout fishing trip made her day. She liked to travel and saw many places including Russia, Morocco and Hawaii. Her favourite sport to watch was figure skating and she spent many hours crocheting and collecting many items for containers for Third World Countries. One of Pat’s great joys and sources of comfort were her two dogs, Sophie and Soe.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends

The Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2008 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Andrew Picklyk officiating.
