Paul John Haugaard

June 8, 1935 - June 19, 2024

With extreme sadness, and a shattered heart, we announce the passing of Paul John Haugaard at the age of 89 years young.

Paul passed away peacefully on June 19th , 2024 at SLGH Salmon Arm BC , with family by his side.

In Paul's last days, he was surrounded by his wife, his children, their spouses and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Cathy, son Carson (Tami), twin daughters Veronica (Tommy), Andrea (Sean), step-son Shawn (Tamara) and was 'Papa' to Beaux, Tatym, Riley, Jax, Kevin, Ashlea, Ava & Sophia. He also leaves to mourn his brother-in-law Rick and two of his 6 pups, Peaches and Ginger. Paul was predeceased by his wife Sorel & son Randy.

He will be lovingly remembered for his charisma, kindness, humour, generosity, wonderful story telling, integrity, loyal friendship and profound strength. Paul loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends, his dogs and the Shuswap / Mara Lakes ( both being on the lakes and watching the view from his deck )

There will be an open house to celebrate Paul's life, at the family home in Sicamous, (Coach Rd ) on Sept 1st, 2024 for happy hour between 2 - 4 pm.
