Bud passed away Wednesday, February 23rd 2011 at the age of 81. He was a resident of Chase BC for the last number of years. He will be forever loved and remembered by his daughter Callie, son Del, sister Velma Ell of Shellbrook, and his brother Doug of LaRonge in Saskatchewan, plus Bud’s 4 grandchildren Alysia, Ryan, Holly and Graham.
Bud was predeceased by his parents Alec and Margaret McHarg, and his brother Lyle of Kerrobert Saskatchewan.
Bud’s passion was drilling water wells which took him throughout BC, northern Alberta and Saskatchewan as well as Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Bud was a very successful at his career allowing him to enjoy retirement by seeing the USA and Canada in his motorhome, and enjoying his recreation property in Palm Desert (California) and Shuswap Lake. His sense of humor and his friendly character will be missed by all that knew him.
Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Chase Community Hall on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lynnelle Hagen and Pastor Jack Price officiating.
Interment will take place at the Melfort Cemetery, Melfort, Saskatchewan.
