Robert (Bob) Donald Davis passed away peacefully on November 4th 2010. Bob was born January 7th 1942 in Newfoundland and moved to BC when he was 7. He married June Gunnarson in 1961 and raised his family in Vancouver. Bob was a carpenter who worked on many of the high-rise buildings in Vancouver as well as construction projects across the province. In 1996, he and June moved to White Lake and built their retirement home. Bob and June enjoyed fishing on White Lake and each year Bob could be seen out in his river boat until ice forced him off the lake. Bob was predeceased by his wife June in 2000 and moved to the 108 Mile Ranch where he built a new home and shop. He spent his retirement working in his shop and fishing many of the areas lakes. He will be remembered as always being ready to lend a helping hand when someone needed a carpenter. In 2010, Bob was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 3 months later at the 100 Mile Hospital. We will all treasure the things that he made for us. A celebration of life will be held at the White Lake Community Hall on May 14th 2011 at 1pm.
