Feb 20, 1938 - Mar 17, 2018
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert James (Bob) Anderson. Born in Prince George to Ernest and Charlotte Anderson on February 20, 1938, Bob passed away in the Burns Lake Hospital March 17, 2018.

Bob was predeceased by his first wife Ann, his second wife Evelyn, his siblings Stan, Gordon, Glenn, and Eileen.

He is survived by his sister Barb, sisters in law Peggy and Betty; his children: Valerie, Aaron, Adrienne (Brian); and Evelyn's children: Linda (J'onn) and Joan; his grandchildren: Morgan, Karl, Geoffry (Stephanie), Mandi (Matthew), Melissa (Josh), Megan (Jason), Andrew (Julia), Brianna, Cale, Sydney, and Carter; his great grandchildren: Amirah, Hadley, Mackenzie, Samantha, Ryliegh, Davis, and Nixon.

During the years of his employment, Bob worked in the logging industry, as a maintenance worker for the School District, and saw filer at Decker Lake Forest Products.

In the years before retirement, Bob spent a great deal of time woodworking and created many beautiful projects for his children and grandchildren that will be lasting reminders of him. His love of the outdoors took him on many adventures four wheeling, canoeing, camping, and fishing with Evelyn, friends, children, and grandchildren; G, M, A, B, C, S, & C.

After retirement, Bob spent fishing season at 'the lake' with Evelyn, then on his own after her passing. Bob had the gift of knowing where to catch fish in whatever lake he happened to be fishing on.

Those who had the pleasure to spend time with Bob will sadly miss him, and his love and enthusiasm for life. Special thanks to the friends and family who have helped Bob in the past several years leading up to and including his recent move into Heritage Manor.
