With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Ronald Warren Stratton at age 62. Ron was a long time resident of Salmon Arm, BC. He worked at the Ministry of Highways and Transportation for 36 years. Ron lost his battle with cancer on January 7, 2012. Ron was preceded in passing by; mother Elizabeth (Betty) Stratton, and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Darleen (Dee) Stratton, son Dave (Natasha) Stratton, daughter Terri (Jordan) Ross, grandchildren Ethan, Noah and Katie Ross, his father Raymond, sisters, Donna (Gary) Kroeker, Darlene (Bruce) Moffat, Debbie (Paul ) Gagnon, brothers, Gordon Stratton, Douglas Stratton, Robert Stratton.
Please join us in celebrating Ron’s life at Bowers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Friday January 13, 2012 with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
