February 21, 1930 - October 18, 2021
In loving memory ~ It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather Ronald Richard Coulter at the age of 91. Dad passed away peacefully on Monday October 18.
Dad was born in Penticton BC on February 21, 1930 to proud parents Robert Scott Coulter and Ethel Swanson. His early years were spent in and around Penticton and Brookmere, BC where after the death of his father he hired on with Canadian Pacific Railway. During this time, he met and married our loving mother Myrtle (Lascelle).
They started their family in Penticton before moving to Revelstoke where they had one more son. In the latter years of his career he moved to Blind Bay BC where he eventually retired.
During his retirement Dad loved to fish, didn't matter what the lake was called if it had fish he fished it.
Dad and Joan loved to spend two weeks out of every year at Horse Lake fishing, and when he couldn't fish anymore they just enjoyed each other.
Dad was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ethel (Swanson), a brother and two sisters, first wife and mother of his children Myrtle, second wife Lillian and his second son Randy.
He leaves behind his loving wife Joan, his son Scott (Johanne) of Calgary and his children Nicholas and Jeremy, daughter in law Marilyn of Calgary widow of Randy and their children Dawn and Jason, and his son Kevin of Revelstoke and his children Mahalia, Heidi and Olivia.
He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Rest in Peace Dad, forever loved and in our hearts, forever missed.
