November 11, 1942 – August 25, 2019
Into mass and energy…the man…the legend…Ross Bisson.
Ross, Dad, Grampa, known as “the coolest guy” by his young friends!
After a journey with lung cancer, drove off into the stars, where he can breathe once again, drive his 442, and sweep!
Ross was raised on a farm in Craik, SK, with 6 siblings.
Married Gaille in 1965, loving and faithful ’til the end.
His kids, Vern (Brenda) and Danette (Matt Rampton); and grandkids, Savannah, Houston and Charlie were his pride and joy.
We moved to Salmon Arm in 1972. Ross was an accountant for the Co-op, previously a Sr. Auditor with Federated Co-op, Saskatoon.
He helped his son build a body shop and was so proud to be part of his dream.
Childhood memories of Mr. B were his great love and ownership of classic cars, fantastic hair (duck tail), a man who loved to dance, pool shark, stunt driver and friend. Always a friend with the warmest hug and powerful handshake.
We wish to thank the “Chemo” girls at SLGH, always a warm hug and smile. The facilities at Bastion Place were wonderful and all so very caring. Our wonderful family and friends for always being there for all of us.
A celebration for Ross will be held Friday night, September 6, 2019 at 6:30 pm at Vern’s Custom Auto in the industrial park. Drive your classic or Hot Rod, be ready for the fireworks and … wear Red for Ross!!!
Online condolences may be sent to Ross’s family through his obituary at www.bowersfuneralservice.com
