Roy passed away in Salmon Arm, BC at 90 years of age after a brief and courageous battle with prostate and bone cancer.
He leaves behind his wife Bernice and children Pam, Darcy (Karin) and Garth (Karen), grandchildren Andrea (Edward), Jonathan, Kent (Paula), Brenan (Charity), Ryan and Ginger, great grandchildren, Breena, Ashlie, Madisin and Toree.
Preceded in death by four younger sisters and three younger brothers.
A private “Celebration of Life” was held at the Cedar Heights Community Center on March 7, 2010 with immediate family and close friends attending. Interment followed at the Blind Bay Cemetery.
Roy loved people and sharing his gift of music was always his great pleasure.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
