Russell passed away in the Ladner Hospital in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 11, 2016 following an incident on the property of the Rose and Crown Pub in Tsawwassen.
Russell was born October 23, 1963 in Edmonton. In July, 1973, he moved with his family to Long Beach Resort, near Sorrento, BC. He finished his elementary schooling at Sorrento, and graduated from the Salmon Arm High School in 1981. He moved to Calgary in 1981, then to the Vancouver area with his family in 1986, where he lived ever since.
Russell was predeceased by his older brother, David, in June, 1981, and his mother, Kayla in April, 2002. He is survived by his father Richard (Dick) of Salmon Arm, his wife Julie, of Ladner, BC, his ex-wife Karen of Pitt Meadows, his son David of Surrey, his eldest daughter Lindsay Breda (Paul) and their 3-year old daughter, Brielle (Russell’s granddaughter) all of Edmonton, as well as his younger daughter, Kaylan, of Ladner.
