Russell Robert Bentley passed away peacefully at his residence in Salmon Arm, BC on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.
“I heard the Owl call my name. I did not turn around and look back but travelled into my world of eternity.”
Russell was born on July 15, 1927 at Toronto, Ontario and had resided in Salmon Arm for the past eight years.
Russell was predeceased by his wife, Marion in 1997. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kevin of Calgary, Karen of Salmon Arm and Kristopher (Linda) of Calgary. “The Kids” - Liam, Morgan, Lauren, Jane, Emma, Libby and Andrew enriched his life with many sparks of joy, amazement, magic, amusement and great laughter. Russell would wish family and friends a fond farewell and ask that you remember him in your own way.
