Ruth passed away peacefully with her family by her side in the early morning, her favourite time of day, at 80 years young.

She will be lovingly remembered by her only daughter, Darlene Arsenault of Kamloops, B.C., granddaughter Stephanie Arsenault (JP Mclean) of Vancouver B.C., and granddaughter Danielle Royce (Jesse), and her great grandchildren, Adalee and Sawyer Royce, of Kamloops, B.C.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband John Holowaty, sister Shirley Anderson, and son-in-law Joseph Wayne Arsenault.

Ruth grew up in Michel-Natal BC. She met her husband John Holowaty in the Elk Valley and they made their early married life in Fernie, BC. After some time in Sri Lanka, due to Johns work they settled in Salmon Arm BC where Ruth spent the better part of 42 years. Ruth was full of life and always active in her community being an avid curler, golfer, gardener, and volunteer. Her humour and devotion will be missed by her loving family and friends.
